Gerard A. Crawford, M.D.,
Years in practice: 22
Medical School: St. George's University School of Medicine
Residency: King County/SUNY Brooklyn
Dr. Crawford and his wife Toni relocated from Carthage, NY in 2007 having previously been in practice in Carthage for 20 years. After finishing residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn he moved to the North Country specifically because he felt that the rural area needed university trained specialists in OB/GYN. He is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate health care to North Country women as evidenced by the fact that the majority of his former Carthage patients have followed him to Lewis County to continue with him. During his tenure in the North Country he worked as a contract physician for Ft. Drum and provided colposcopy service to active duty personnel and dependents. He also served as Medical Director for PPNNY in the past. He is an affiliated preceptor for Lemoyne College's PA program for their OB/GYN rotations as well, and currently continues this role. A committed and caring physician, Dr. Crawford is interested in all aspects of his specialty from Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Gynecological Surgeries, to Well Women Services. Along with Dr. Josefina Tan-Domingo, Dr. Cynthia Fraser and Selina Hughes, ANP, they provide Comprehensive Womens Health Services to the North Country with over 50 years of experience. They are continuing to accept new patients and are committed to their service to the North Country, Ft. Drum, and surrounding communities.
