Lewis County Surgical Associates understands how stressful it can be to undergo surgery or to have a loved one in surgery. Our compassionate staff will guide you as to what to expect before and after surgery and will answer your questions about your specific procedure.

We are located on the Hospital’s main campus, Suite 120, 1st Floor of the Medical Arts Building.  The clinic is staffed by general surgeons Jon M. Baker, M.D., Sung (Steve) Kwon, M.D., MPH, David Vivas, M.D., and Rachel Zehr, M.D. Surgical personnel include anesthesiologists, CRNAs, registered nurses, and surgical technologists specially trained in all areas of surgical care. In addition to LCHS’s in-hospital services, many patients receive outpatient procedures or ambulatory surgeries at the facility. 

Lewis County Health System offers the latest technology usually only found at larger facilities.  All of our surgeons offer a wide range of surgical procedures.  Many procedures can be done with less invasive laparoscopic techniques so you can recover faster.

Surgical procedures include: breast surgery, breast biopsies, and minimally invasive breast surgery; intestinal procedures such as large and small bowel, diverticulitis surgery, and colon resections; skin surgery procedures including management of benign and malignant skin diseases, biopsies, skin grafts, and advancement flaps; laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgeries such as gall bladders, appendectomies, hernias (pediatric, abdominal wall and groin), wound care, tonsillectomies, in office vasectomies, and others.
