Beaver River Family Health Center

Lewis County General Hospital's Beaver River Family Health Center is proud to offer a comprehensive family medicine program to the residents of Beaver Falls and the surrounding areas. Dr. Shirley Tuttle-Malone, Dr. Thomas Birk, and Melinda Rosner, RPA-C make up the patient-focused family practice staff and health care program that is Beaver River Family Health Center.  Dr. Tuttle-Malone and Dr. Birk are Board Certified in Family Medicine.

The Beaver River Family Health Center was moved in December 2010 into a completely remodeled, modernized and expanded building at 9559 Main St. in Beaver Falls, NY.

Copenhagen Family Health Center

Dr. Norman B. Scott offers a comprehensive family medicine program for all ages at Lewis County General Hospital's Copenhagen Family Health Center.  The Copenhagen Family Health Center is now open on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. For more information or to set-up an appointment, please call the Copenhagen Health Center at (315)-688-2305.

Blood draws are available every Tuesday by appointment from 8:00am-9:00am and can be made by calling the Lewis County General Laboratory at 315-376-5248.  If you are currently a patient of another physician and have a prescription to have blood drawn, the Copenhagen Family Health Center will perform the draw, saving you time and a long drive to Lowville, Carthage or Watertown.

South Lewis Family Health Center 

John Leuenberger, D.O. and Lynn Pisaniello, M.D., offer a comprehensive family medicine program for all ages at Lewis County General Hospital's South Lewis Family Health Center. The Center has expanded office hours. The South Lewis Family Health Center is now open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 12:00PM, and 1:00PM to 4:00PM. Lynn Pisaniello, M.D. specializes in holistic maternity care and delivery. Dr. Leuenberger is welcoming new patients and offers primary care for all ages, from newborns to the elderly.  He also specializes in Osteopathic Medicine and Acupuncture.  

If you are currently a patient of another physician and have a prescription to have blood drawn, the South Lewis Family Health Center will perform the draw while saving you time and a long drive to Utica, Rome or Lowville.

South Lewis School-Based Health Center

A school-based health center provides complete physical, mental and preventative health services to school-aged children in a school environment. 

School-based health centers are designed to ease access to health care by reducing the barriers that have historically prevented children and youth from seeking the health services they need. 

The staff will provide access to a full range of services for all students, regardless of whether or not they have health insurance coverage. 

The staff includes a Physican Assistant (P.A.), and a Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.). The P.A. is overseen by a Physician.

Lewis County Family Practice offers a comprehensive family medicine program for all ages on the third floor of the LCGH Medical Arts Building on the main hospital campus in Lowville.  The practice is open Monday - Friday and is staffed by Catherine Williams, M.D., Daniel Root, M.D., and R. Brian Shambo, M.D.

At Lewis County General Hospital Women's Health Services, we offer complete obstetric and gynecologic care. Our physicians specialize in obstetrics, gynecology and gynecologic surgery.
