Magendra Thakur, M.D., FCCP, DABSM, Board Certified Internal, Pulmonary, & Sleep Medicine

Dr. Thakur practiced Emergency and Intermal Medicine at St. Michael's Hospital in Dunlaighare Republic of Ireland. He also worked in Emergency and Internal Medicine at Coney Island Hospital and came to LCGH from his solo pulmonary practice in Potsdam, NY.

Dr. Thakur, pulmonologist, is an internal medicine physician who specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions and diseases of the cardiopulmonary system. A pulmonologist treats any part of the body that is involved in the breathing process and bringing oxygen into and out of the body. At LCGH, Dr. Thakur will see patients who suffer from all types of sleep disorders, COPD, emphysema, asthma and other types of pulmonary diseases.
