Physician Assistant Brittani Bickel
Physcian Assistant Brittani Bickel completed her undergraduate education at Boston University where she majored in the Pre-Med tract at the Sargent College of Allied Health Sciences. While attending Boston University, Brittani was able to participate and play on the Boston University Women’s Softball team. After Boston University, Brittani attended Syracuse University graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS degree in Biology and minor in Women’s Studies. Ms. Bickel also worked as a Physician Assistant at the Department of Correctional Services in Cape Vincent, NY where she provided care and management of infectious and chronic diseases for inmates such as asthma and diabetes. She is a Fitness Instructor/ Personal Trainer at the Watertown Family YMCA and an avid hockey player in her leisure time. Brittani owns and plays with the TI River Rats and the MIZConducts women’s hockey teams. Ms. Bickel sees patients at Harrisville Health Center.
Thomas Birk, D.O., Board Certified Family Practice
Thomas P. Birk, D.O., began his practice at the Beaver River Health Center, Beaver Falls, NY, in early November 2007. Dr. Birk received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. Following graduation he joined the United States Army and in 1995 he attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating with his doctorate in 1999. He performed his Internship and Residency at the DeWitt Army Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, VA. He then went to Korea and from 2002 to 2005 he was the Officer-in-Charge and Family Physician at the Camp Hialeah Troop Medical Clinic. In 2005, Dr. Birk returned to the states and continued his career at Fort Drum, NY, as a Family Physician. Dr. Birk was honorably discharged from the Army in 2006 with the rank of Major. His practice includes a Full Family Practice scope of newborns, adolescents, adult, geriatric population, and a full scope of specialty medicines.

Mr. Engle has lived in Lowville for over 30 years. He serves as Adult Sunday School teacher and Deacon at the Denmark Baptist Church. He is a volunteer Critical Care EMT with Lewis County Search and Rescue. He and his family enjoy martial arts. Mr. Engle holds the rank of 4th degree Black Belt and is an instructor of Tae Kwon Do with Niblett's Karate Studio. He has published three articles in the International Martial Arts publication, The Tae Kwon Do Times. Mr. Engle sees patients at South Lewis Health Center.

Dr. M. Lynn Pisaniello grew up in Illinois and received her undergraduate education from Northwestern University. Physician Assistant Melinda Rosner
Physician Assistant Melinda Rosner graduated from LeMoyne College, Syracuse, in 2006 with her Physician Assistant Degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Wells College in Aurora, NY in May 2003. Mrs. Rosner is certified in CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Prior to joining the staff at Beaver River Family Health Center, she worked for Family Medicine of Carthage. Mrs. Rosner stated that she is pleased to be part of the LCGH staff and looks forward to providing quality care for her patients. She resides in Watertown with her husband Sam, two year old daughter Leah and three month old son Ari. She sees patients at Beaver River Health Center.
Norman B. Scott, D.O.
Dr. Scott completed 20 years of government service as a staff physician at various military installations, with the last 10 years at Fort Drum. He attended Medical School at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, New York and attended a Family Practice internship and residency from Scott Air Force Base, IL. Shirley Tuttle-Malone, D.O., Board Certified Family Practice
Dr. Tuttle-Malone is a local family doctor, born and raised in Lewis County and is a proponent of preventive medicine. She completed her medical degree at the Philadelpia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internship and residency at St. Elizabeth's College. Dr. Tuttle-Malone has served on several community service boards in the past and was also active on the LCGH Medical Executive Committee serving as president, vice-president and secretary/treasurer. Due to her diagnoses of ocular myasthenia gravis, she gave up full-time hospital privileges because of her difficulty with distance vision and the inability, at times, to drive.
