Lewis County Dermatology provides comprehensive dermatological care for adult and pediatric patients. The clinic is staffed by Dermatology Physician Assistants Amy Werchinski and Erin Bryant.  

Some of the services/treatments offered include: acne, actinic keratoses, allergic reactions, common skin infections, eczema, hair loss, hives, psoriasis, rosacea, skin cancer, removal of moles, skin tags, warts, and biopsies of suspicious lesions.  

NEW - The Clinic now offers cosmetic services including: Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion.


Amy Werchinski, MPAS, RPA-C, has over 14 years of experience practicing in dermatology private practice.  She graduated in 2002 from Rochester Institute of Technology’s Physician Assistant program and went on to receive her Master’s of Dermatology Physician Assistant from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2005. 

Amy is a North Country native who is happy to be able to provide care in an underserved area.  The dermatology clinic treats common dermatologic conditions including: acne, warts, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hair loss, allergic reactions, hives, actinic keratoses, common skin infections, and skin cancer.  The clinic performs skin cancer screenings and biopsies for suspicious lesions.


Erin Bryant, RPA-C, graduated from the Physician Assistant program at the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2002. Since that time she has worked in such areas as psychiatry and neurology, but her passion has always been dermatology.  

Erin obtained special training in the field of dermatology at Dermatology Associates in Syracuse, New York.  As a Physician Assistant, she practices general dermatology with a special interest in psychodermatology as well as adult and teenage acne.  Erin is proud to join the team at Lewis County Dermatology.



Britany Sage, CNA, is now providing Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peels.  Britany joined Lewis County General Hospital in 2011.  She joined the Dermatology practice in 2014 and obtained her Esthetician's License in December 2015.  Britany works with Dermatology Physician Assistants Amy Werchinski, MPAS, RPA-C and Erin Bryant, RPA-C. These new services are not covered by insurance.  Payment is required at the time of service.
